Cookie policy

What are cookies?

Cookies (literally “cookies”) are small text files that store different types of information about the user who is visiting a website, such as its location, the device from which it connects (PC, smartphone, tablet ..), the browser that uses it, its authentication data, browsing preferences, etc … but can also store data on its habits and personal choices: the latter information that can be used afterwards to track a profile of the individual consumer.

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit. The text stores information that the site is able to read when it is consulted at a later time. Some of these cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the site, others are useful to the visitor because they can safely store, for example, the user name or the language settings.

More specifically, two macrocategories of cookies are distinguished:

“Technical” cookies
strictly necessary for the functioning and use of the web service, they are used to collect information in aggregate form on site visits.Among these we have:

  • navigation cookies (or session cookies)
  • authentication cookies (for example, user input and password)
  • personalization cookies (for example, related to saving preferences activities)
  • functionality cookies (for example, saving the shopping cart or language / currency preferences)
  • analytics cookies (ie statistical, considered technical if used by the manager to collect data in aggregate form (= without collecting IP addresses), the number of users and how they visit the site)
  • cookie flash player (if they do not exceed the duration of the session)

etc …

Technical cookies are intended to enable functions without which it would not be possible to use the SITE in the best way.
These cookies allow the operation of procedures based on several steps (more subsequent pages, such as a contact request), to keep track of the user’s choices on the contents of the SITE to be displayed and the features to be activated or deactivated.
Included in the scope of technical cookies are those used to statistically analyze accesses or visits to the site, also called “analytics”, which only pursue statistical purposes and collect information in aggregate form without the possibility of identifying the individual user.
Cookies analytics may also be third-party cookies (Google Analytics) for which reference should be made, for further information, to the privacy of the respective owner.

“Profiling” cookies
serve to outline the user’s profile and send targeted advertising, such as:

  • first or third party advertising profiling cookies;
  • retargeting cookies;
  • social network cookies;
  • statistical cookies managed completely by third parties

These are the cookies used to track the user’s browsing on the web and create profiles on his tastes, habits, choices, etc. With these cookies, advertising messages can be transmitted to the user’s terminal in line with the preferences already expressed by the same user in the online navigation.This site does not use profiling cookies.

Browsing in the WEBSITE will be sent information to Facebook through the corresponding PIXEL TAG or through the pixel of conversion of Facebook conversions : it is a JavaScript code that inserts a 1 × 1 pixel image almost invisible in the WEBSITE, which sends a message to Facebook when someone visits a page or performs an action.
When a visitor loads the page in question, the code tells Facebook that a conversion has been made: in this way, Facebook compares the conversion event with the group of people who viewed and / or clicked on the listing, allowing owner of the site to use useful information to determine the return of his advertising investment.
